I love going to LOWES and could be in there for hours looking at all their stock and big selection of everything. The returns are easy if you don't have a receipt. They can look it up by scanning item or method of payment. But all the staff are young and have no clue. They put all the hardware mom and pop stores out of business where their employees knew exactly what you wanted. I had a horrible flooring situation where I had to end up going to the highest rank in Pittsburgh. It was awful. Beware single ladies cause they know we are an easy target and will rip you off.

First let's start with the Lowes flooring department, they were great purchasing the flooring was very easy. They answered all of our questions and explained everything. They had no problem in taking our money. And that's where the greatness ends. So let's begin our journey of replacing our flooring. First, a person calls and sets up a date to come measure your house and tell you how many days it will take to install (which you pay for in advance) before you purchase your flooring. That took almost a week to get done. They then call you with your total. No problem let's do this. Right. Then after waiting almost a month for them to come install your flooring they call you the day of install and tell you they do not have all of your flooring can they reschedule. HELL NO YOU CAN NOT. So I call the local store and toss a fit. Needless to say they found all the flooring. Hhmmm Finally the installers come to install they basically dropped off all the material and said they'd be back tomorrow. So our two day install took four days and I'm glad I was home since they covered two heat vents which I had to point out before they left. REALLY. So now let's jump ahead a full year. I noticed that parts of the vinyl are pulling up off the floor, and peeling in other areas. So I call and guess what it's been over a year it's no longer covered but they will send out the installers to take a look. They (the installers) will call you in 24-48 hours to schedule a time. Two weeks later I haven't heard a thing. I call again now I'm really p***ed. I already know I have to pay for half ass work and they don't have the decency to even call me. Well now they (company) called the installers who said oh yeah I have her paperwork and will be calling her today. Needless to say I haven't heard a thing from them yet. And I will not recommend having Lowes install anything ever. They sub-contract everything out to people that obviously don't care.

Didn't have items in stock I needed. As always I had to resort to plan B. Would like to see a Menards open close to me.

I found screws i needed and left. i had to check the christmas out before i left as i always do.

Knowledgeable, friendly employees. Clean store that well-maintained.
