Food was good, but the options are a little limited for the price. Not sure if you can substitute options or not. Views of the park are very pleasing.
We were upset to see the dinner buffet was no longer offered. We did think about staying for dinner, but overheard a very cranky waitress complain to the host about seating another table when they were waiting an hour for food from the kitchen. Needless to say we left and left. The view though was beauiful.
Great dinner for our group of 8. The loaves of hot bread were so good. The wedge salad with Point Reyes blue cheese & the scallop entree were excellent. Good wine list.
Suggest arriving during daylight. We arrived after dark. Hard to find the lodge. After all that. Was a great stay. Room was very nice. Breakfast was great. Next time will come earlier in the day so as to enjoy more events.
