Last time I visited Perkins I was extremely disappointed with the food and service. We usually go in the morning and the service/food is always great. This time it was around 8:30 pm, our server was a young girl who you could tell wasn't happy to be there. Our order was messed up a few ways. My son's burger came with pickles when ordered plain, & my mashed potatoes had gravy when I asked for none. Not a big deal but my husband paid $14 for steak and peppers and got a child's serving, and it was cold. No refills either, service was less than mediocre.
Awful!! A bigger party came in after us and got served before us. The server didn't even acknowledge us it took me getting a manager to even get acknowledged!!
We had a vehicle breakdown nearby this restaurant, and the waitresses were very helpful with letting us stay to keep warm. They even stepped up to pay our bill. Thank you very much for your acts of kindness, and your concern.
Best in it's class in the valley. Better selection than some of their competitors too. That is why my family prefers Perkins. Service is always fast and quality of food has been great when we have gone.
